Back again for the fifth year, the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association marked its return to the Spokane Fair and Exposition Center with added entertainment and expanded categories in its awards program. The most notable addition (from our perspective) was the inclusion of a Rod & Custom Top 10 category that was only made difficult because it was so hard to narrow it down to 10 awards when there were so many great cars and trucks from which to choose.
From the beginning, the weather could not have been more perfect for a weekend of hot rodding, with or without a top. Once at the event, it didn't take any time at all to find all the things the Goodguys are known to bring to the party, like a building full of manufacturers, live musical entertainment, and stuff for kids of all ages, including a model building contest and valve cover races all weekend. If you haven't already checked out the Goodguys Northwest Nationals, add it to your list of must-do events with the highest recommendation from your friends at R&C.
