In addition to the elite-level rods competing for the America's Most Beautiful Roadster award, the other centerpiece of the Grand National Roadster Show is Building 9, where the 75 Most Significant '32 Ford Hot Rods were on display. We'll be spending a lot of time in Building 9, but for now, here's an appetizer of some of these historic Deuces.
The most recent, and smallest, additions to the Grand National Roadster Show were the Hot Rod Hero Pedal Cars, on display in the same building as the 75 Most Significant '32 Ford Hot Rods. Ten prominent builders-Troy Trepanier, Thom Taylor, The Rolling Bones Shop, Steve Moal, Jesse Greening, Chip Foose, Boyd Coddington, Pete Chapouris, Roy Brizio, and Bobby Alloway, each created a custom pedal car, provided by Warehouse 36. Each car is autographed by Edsel Ford II, and each will be auctioned at the RM Auctions Monterey Sports and Classic Car Auction later this year. All proceed will benefit charities selected by the builders.
