An unexpected treat was a guided tour through the personal collection of Louis Cote in Fallon, Nevada. Cote’s rodding roots trace back to Southern California in the late ’40s, and he’s got tons of photos as evidence of that. Better still is the astonishing number of vintage Ford parts and vehicles he owns. Several garages are loaded with NOS parts, all of them pre-1950, and then there’s the stockpile of vintage sheetmetal, some of it NOS as well. Out back is a treasure trove of Ford cars and trucks, mostly ’49 and older, mostly savable. Don’t worry, they’re in good hands. View Related Article
