The sedan got a fresh coat of low-gloss black just before it was entered in Autorama Extreme (where these photos were taken). Bob Ward applied the pinstriping and Weird Wally added the numbers to the doors at the last minute. The numbers were chosen to recall the stock market crash of 1929 and the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. The sedan's nickname, Hard Times, is reminiscent of these two events.

Nothing fancy on the inside, just simple, functional hot rod stuff. The aluminum dash is a copy of an original piece. Notice the sample of Tommy the Greek style striping on the passenger side. Tony got the racing buckets from Speedway.

A Watts link is typically seen in the rear, but Tony added one at the front axle in lieu of a panhard bar. It works great and look cool.

All four wheels have disc brakes. Tony bought a cooking pot at the Salvation Army thrift store and cut is down the center to make a pair of front brake air scoops.
