Todd ReedWayland, Missouri1953 ChevyTodd bought his Chevy two years ago from a lady who had more cool cars than space. The '53 was sitting in a carport because her '65 Impala convertible, her son's '63 Impala SS, and her late husband's hot-rodded '56 Chevy were taking up all the room in the garage. Since buying it, Todd has lowered it with dropped uprights in front and blocks in rear, added the lakes pipes and dummy spotlights, and split the exhaust manifold. He sprayed it with some primer to keep it from rusting and added a few licks with the pinstriping brush. Future plans call for some wide whites, a newer six-cylinder with some speed goodies, and a five-speed. Suede orange paint with a white top will go with a new orange tuck 'n' roll with white piping.
Mike AustinGulf Breeze, FloridaT-BucketMike was a firefighter for 10 years, and it seems the flames migrated into his garage. Mike did all the fabrication work on his T-bucket; after building the chassis to fit the Koorey Street Rods 'glass body, he dropped in a 305 Chevy rebuilt with a Lunati cam and an Edelbrock intake and carb. A Turbo 350 and GM 10-bolt complete the solid foundation. Stockton solid wheels (15x6 and 15x10) were powdercoated red to pop off the black and flame body, painted by Trevor Morrison at Trademark Automotive. The keg functions as the gas tank and is held in place with some stainless straps.
