Here's a jubilant Otto Rhodes sporting one of his many trophies that his Mountain Pearl won. Bear in mind that this was 1961 and Otto would've been about 22 or 23. Due to the draft and a protracted restyling, Otto got to enjoy only about six months with the finished Pearl.

Prior to its life as the Mountain Pearl, Otto's pickup was a real stand-out. He'd lowered the nose, chromed the bumpers, mounted bigs-and-littles on Merc wheels, and treated the tail pan to a pair of '53 Pontiac taillights. Otto's prior car, a chopped '36 sedan, is to its immediate right.
