Like everything else on the chassis, the K-member is built truck-tough. The framerails turn inward just before the intersection of the rear part of the K-member and the rails. By turning inward, instead of continuing to flare (as on the original frame), 2 inches are gained on each side for added tire clearance. View Related Article
