The level of workmanship that went into Lenn Pritchard's full-fendered Deuce roadster is nothing short of mind-blowing. The fully-boxed Kugel frame was treated to a 2-inch stretch, with Aldan coilovers at all corners. Arizona Speed & Marine is responsible for the LT5 crate motor matched with a GM 77R4A transmission. The custom seats covered in tan leather are the handiwork of upholstery wiz Ron Mangus. Mike Pettit redid the '32 sedan dash, adding VDO instruments. An Alpine sound system and GPS are hidden from sight. Most impressive of all is the body, built more than 71 years ago at the Ford plant and soaked in PPG Real Red by Randy Laven of Watertown, South Dakota. Body mods include a 1 1/2 inch channel, reformed and filled cowl, molded front fenders, custom running boards, a windshield patterned from a Porsche 944, vents and brake light patterned after a Corvette ZR1, shortened trunk lid, lengthened hood, molded frame horns, the list goes on and on. Honors for Lenn have included class wins at the Portland and Seattle Roadster Shows, Outstanding Roadster pick at the '00 GNRS, the cover of the January '01 issue of Street Rodder, a pick as one of R&C's 100 Best for 2000, and the privilege of driving such a gorgeous-looking Deuce.
