Andy Brizio, northern California's signature hot rodding icon since the early 1970s will be roasted Saturday Night, August 27th during the Goodguys 19th Texaco/Havoline West Coast Nationals and everyone is invited! The "Evening with Andy" will be held at the Pleasanton Hilton and there's room for about 300 people. $35 includes dinner and all the evening's festivities, and if you know Andy and his buddies, the evening promises to be one to remember!
Known as "The Rodfather" for his development of the "Instant T" hot rod kits, Brizio has long been a driving force and leader in the hot rodding world. But before he gained notoriety with hot rods, Brizio served as the official flag starter at Half Moon Bay dragstrip during the 1960s. He then opened Andy's Wheel & Tire shop on Old Mission Rd in South San Francisco and in 1981, he and wife Sue opened "Andy's Tee Shirts" in Concord, California. Along the way, he's driven his hot rod roadsters across the country more times than anyone, living up to his legendary "Rodfather" status.
