When it comes to hot rod shows with history, you'll have a hard time finding one with more of a pedigree than the Grand National Roadster Show. The year 2006 marks the GNRS' 57th year and its third year being held in the birthplace of hot rodding, Southern California. The Fairplex in Pomona has not only provided a great indoor venue, but for the first time ever has opened up the show to anyone with a pre-1973 hot rod. For just $30, you, your hot rod, and a buddy can cruise into the Grand National Roadster Show Drive-in (Saturday only) and park between the buildings. Not only will you save some money and get a great parking spot, but there will also be magazine picks from Rod & Custom, Street Rodder, and Classic Trucks.
