I like to drive. I like to drive a lot. And I love to drive in a hot rod. Half the fun of going to a car show or event is getting there. My obvious choice would be in a '32 sedan delivery, so I could stuff all my art supplies on board and draw on the spot!

The Deuce here is hammered hard, with 3 1/2 inches out of the roofline, a wicked rake, and a full hood. This bad boy would look sneaky just standing still.

A pro-built chassis gets all the earmarks for long distance. I would incorporate a traditional dropped front end and a nice 8- or 9-inch Ford rear stuffed with 3.55:1 gears (posi, of course!). A pair of small Dietz headlights provides night power, with maybe an early '40s Mopar or Stude taillight application in the rear. Add wide white radials at all corners-15s up front and 16s in the back.

Powerplant? Ah, yes, a 392 Ford stroker with a nice T5 to transfer all the power. Spray the whole deal in deep shiny black and then apply apple green flames tipped in aqua pinstripes!

All that would be left is to turn the key and start motoring on through America's highways and byways!
