On the heels of last year's incredible '70 Chevelle Grand Prize Giveaway Car, the gang at Precision Coachworks in Jasper, Indiana, has done it again, turning out a spectacular new super musclecar to serve as the '09 Goodguys Grand Prize Giveaway. Feast your eyes on Super Nova, a 600hp '70 Nova.
The car made its grand debut here at the 11th PPG Nationals in Columbus on July 12 in front of a packed house. The car entered the building to a booming soundtrack of AC/DC's "Back in Black." Once Air Ride Technologies CEO Brett Voelkel stopped the car, the assembled crowd mobbed around Super Nova to grab the exclusive first glimpses of the car. Super Nova will tour the country the rest of this year and the first half of 2009 before being given away at the 12th PPG Nationals in 2009.
How to Win the Super Nova:
- Total of approximately 22 qualifiers. Final drawing will take place during the awards show at the 12th PPG Nationals in Columbus, Ohio, on Sunday, July 12, 2009
- One person will be selected by way of the Sunday Lucky Ticket at each national event, starting at the 11th PPG Nationals in Columbus in 2008 and ending with the last pull at the PPG Nationals in Columbus in 2009.
- One person will be randomly drawn from the Goodguys membership base in June 2009 and will be added as a qualifier.
