With a number of bubbletop cars appearing at shows, the Atomic Punk in R&C, and the restoration of Ed Roth's original Orbitron, it's nice to see that his sons Dennis (L'il Daddy), Darryl and Charlie are keeping the family tradition alive with a new Roth Boyz creation. This one's dubbed the Streetnik Bandit, based on a Steve Stanford rendition, and will be a four seater built in the traditional Roth manner of laying fiberglass over a plaster mould, then knocking the plaster out from behind.
Based on an Eighties GM frame and drivetrain, the Streetnik Bandit is farther along than these pictures show, currently at Roy Fjastad's California Street Rods for some chassis modification while the body gets prepped for paint, before heading back to the top secret Roth Boyz hideout. We're sure L'il Daddy will have this one out at shows next season...
