Pinkee's Rod Shop held the kickoff party for the 12th annual Goodguys Colorado Nationals for the third year in a row. Approximately 2,000 people attended the kickoff party that continues to grow every year. Attendees enjoyed free food and drinks and great music by Rodney James. The highlight of the evening was the debut of Hemrod, the new '32 Tudor built for Don Smith of Mansfield, Texas. Don flew into Colorado for the debut of the car that was a hit with all. The weather cooperated for the party and it turned out to be the best kickoff party yet. The Builder's Choice Top Ten awards, custom made by Jimmy Smith, were on display at the party. The Pinkee's crew picked the Top Ten cars at the show on Saturday and each received a one-of-a-kind trophy.
