Riverside, Calif.- Riverside International Automotive Museum President and co-founder Douglas Magnon has announced the addition of a presenting sponsor's name to the title of this year's Legends of Riverside Film Festival and Gala.

This community-minded institution has been a great partner for us at the Museum and to the Magnon Companies as well. And now they've have become a member of our annual 'Legends' event family," said Magnon.

The Legends event premiered last year at the Riverside Museum to great "reviews" from all of the attendees and featured great stars of motoracing, great motoracing-themed films, great food, and great guests who had the time of their lives reminiscing about some of the best (and least) -known moments both on and off the raceway, as told by the people who lived them.
Part party, part reunion and all up-close-and-personal, the Museum only makes a very limited number of tickets available for this event each year. "We designed and built this event specifically for the deep-rooted Riverside fan. Our fan base is international, the Raceway meant so much to so many," Magnon explained, "Many of our attendees watched races at Riverside but, interestingly enough, almost an equal number never had the chance to go there before it closed in 1988. At our event, there's really no way to tell the difference, everyone's a total fan of the place and the people, and everyone is drawn to their stories."
This year the great Carroll Shelby will be honored at a Saturday night gala that will also feature a number of the people who worked with this true racing legend on cars like the Cobra and who helped to finally put the Ford Motor Company into the winner's circle at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
As mentioned above tickets for this charity event are limited. A maximum of 250 will be printed for this event, when they are gone, the event is sold-out.
