Bob Dahl wrote in to share these pictures of a ’47 Chevy he built in 1959, finishing it when he was 20 years old. It was lowered 6 inches over reverse rim steels ’n’ caps, and ran a highly modified small-block Chevy underhood with Corvette valve covers and triple carbs. The interior was finished with metallic blue metalwork, and matching tuck ’n’ roll seats and panels. A ’59 Corvette steering wheel and white-edged blue carpet finished off the cabin. With the requisite bodywork—nosed, decked, and shaved—finished, Bob had the exterior painted white.
