Pete & Jake’s Hot Rod Shop is about to celebrate 40 years of business. A pair of 1934 Ford three-window coupes that were featured in 1974’s Rod & Custom Magazine started it all. Pete & Jake’s is a second-generation company that started in 1974 and has become the go-to for advice, service, and high-quality parts all made in the U.S.A. The milestone just goes to show you that this scene isn’t going away and will probably continue to go on. Pete & Jake’s were one of the first companies to introduce instruction guides with their parts, making everything more user-friendly.
“Here we are 40 years later and all the information is the same,” said Jason Slover of Pete & Jakes.
If you’ve been reading Rod & Custom Magazine lately, we have been featuring a 1933 Ford Tudor Sedan in where Slover was able to help us with a Pedal Assembly Kit from Pete & Jakes (PN 4040).
If your basics are right, everything else will follow, said Slover.
A family-run company, Jerry Slover, his wife Peggy, son Jason, and his wife Tina, invite you to come join them in their celebration. Visit www.peteandjakes.com
