Traditional Air is as the name implies. The look of a traditional Ibeam or tube front end with the ride quality and height adjustment of air-ride. For the last few years, air ride has taken the hot rod and custom market by storm. Until now, straight axle cars have been left out. We have spent two years developing this front end system using CAD design and CNC manufacturing. Our front end is designed for easy installation on Model A to 1934 front ends, as well as for custom frames. '37-40 Fords coming soon. No more 3 inch travel with poor ride quality on your straight axle car or truck. We get a full 5 inches of travel with the advantage of adjustable height. Just think, driving your hotrod to a show with the comfort of airride and the ride quality offered by the long suspension travel. When you get to the show, drop your car to a profiling ride height and cruise the grounds. When you're ready to park, SLAM your car to the ground with the flick of a switch. It's that easy. Firestone bags are rated at 1600 lbs of lifting force and are the finest in the industry. Cross-members are CNC laser cut and the design insures that your ride looks traditional from any angle. Swing-arms are manufactured to look like a leaf spring with the added benefit of being CNC machined. Add to that swivel style perches and you have the highest quality, best engineered straight axle front end system on the market. NSRA agreed and gave Traditional Air the Best New Product Award for 2004.
Basic Kit ($585.00) includes: CNC laser cut and jig welded cross-member, swing-arms, air bags, and upper shock mounts.
Full kit ($855.00) includes basic kit plus: lower shock mounts, shocks, swivel perches and spring shackles.
Chrome shocks and stainless parts are also available for an upgrade fee.
