Takin' A Ribbin'
CCM Rod Shop's latest product in its Classic Series line of parts is this five-hole ribbed gauge panel. Machined from a solid piece of 3/4-inch 6061 aluminum, it has a fully ribbed bead-blasted center with a polished outer lip for a nostalgic look. It is machined so the gauges are recessed into the panel and is built to accept Classic Instruments gauges. However, it can be special ordered to accept other manufacturers' gauges. The panel measures 5 inches high by 16 1/2 inches long and is supplied bare, customers supplying their own gauges. For more information, contact CCM Rod Shop at (866) 999-1932 or www.ccmrodshop.com.

Hold Not Fold
Most everyone has to keep their registration documents in their car, which is fine in modern machinery with a glovebox, but what about that early hot rod with little to no storage space? Hot Rod Leather's latest accessory is this vintage-style registration holder, designed after an original, which Hot Rod Leather owner Eric Williams found in his '51 Packard, still with his mother's registration from 1966 inside! While retaining an original appearance, the new RH-51 holders are high-quality leather not vinyl, and feature a UV-resistant window. With nickel-plated rivets and loops, and plated springs and clips, they will last for many years. Sized like the originals, at 3 1/2 x 5 1/8 inches, they are available in black, red, or dark brown, and in two styles, with springs for steering column mount, or special clips, for sun visor mounting. Custom colors are available by special order. Up until the '60s, by law your registration had to be visible from outside the vehicle, and while that's no longer the case, these holders are not only practical but retro-cool too! RallyE Cry
With the ever-increasing sizes of tires today, and wheels to match, those wishing to retain a somewhat-stock appearance to their cars have every right to feel a little "left out", with their 14- or 15-inch wheels suddenly looking somewhat dated, not to mention small! If Rallye wheels are your choice of rollers, worry no more, as Wheel Vintiques has released an 18-inch steel Rallye wheel, available in 7- and 8-inch widths with a variety of standard and custom backspaces, in Ford and Chevy bolt patterns. Wheel Vintiques has many of the popular styles of cap too, such as derby, police, disc brake, and even truck caps. Trim rings will be available soon. The wheels are supplied in bare steel, but you can also have them chromed or powdercoated for an additional cost. For more information, contact Wheel Vintiques Inc. at (559) 251-6957 or www.wheelvintiques.com.

Nice Glass
One of the biggest visual differences you can make to an early car is to eliminate the vent windows in the front doors for a smoother look, but it can be a chore, as not only do you have to have new glass cut to size, but also source all the U channel, stainless moldings, and whiskers. If you have a '40 Ford coupe or Tudor sedan, Jefferis Hot Rod Glass just made the chore a whole lot easier, with their new one-piece door conversion kit for these models. Including the front metal and U channel glass runs, preformed stainless steel inner and outer door moldings and whiskers, as well as tempered glass in gray, bronze, or green, pretty much all the pain of the swap has been eliminated.
