Hot Tub
Wintec Fabrication's new T-tub body virtually doubles the interior space of a T-bucket, so it's easy to carry necessities like a cooler and chairs, or other family members. Available in a variety of package configurations, including the roller you see here, the new body comes with a full fiberglass floor and removable transmission tunnel, and an operating door on the passenger side is optional. It's made of hand-laid fiberglass featuring a smooth gelcoat finish that requires minimal time for prep and paint.

The top can be ordered in a variety of colors, and Wintec has everything you need to finish the car, from its own bomber seats to spindle-mount brakes. Retro Rollers
Early in 2010, Art Hale Jr. re-acquired the U.S. Mags brand and logo his father had originally started so many years ago. Using the latest technology, U.S. Mags is proud to re-introduce the original five-spoke "Standard" and kidney bean "Indy" designs that originally helped fuel the custom wheel market.

Available in sizes ranging from 15- to 20-inch diameters, a set of U.S. Mags will go a long way to adding some authentic retro flair to your project car or truck. For more information, contact U.S. Mags at (800) 493-7891 or www.mhtwheels.com.

Progressive Thinking
Jim Inglese has been building Weber carburetors for over 30 years, and has just released the new "staged" dual Weber DCOE sidedraft setup you see here. The new system allows you to cruise around on two small barrels until you call in the second carburetor via a progressive linkage.

The primary two-barrel carburetor is calibrated for running around town and cruising at light throttle. Its "evil twin" is a secondary two-barrel that looks identical, but is fitted with bigger venturis and jetting for extra kick when you need it. It fits any standard Holley four-barrel pattern intake manifold. Available options include two types of air cleaners, and decorative red velocity stack covers for car shows. Shipped fully assembled and ready to run, also included but not pictured is a fuel pressure regulator, fuel pressure gauge, and new base gasket. For more information, contact Jim Inglese Weber Carburetion at (203) 623-0659 or www.jiminglese.com.

Slick Disc
If you do any kind of metal fabrication, chances are you use cut-off wheels in a grinder, and while they work well, you can go through an awful lot of them. Rex-Cut Products' new line of cotton fiber abrasive wheels are comparable to conventional unitized wheels but are claimed to last up to 10 times longer, owing to their density. Featuring multiple layers of cotton fiber with aluminum oxide or silicon carbide abrasives laminated, pressed, and bonded together into a dense wheel, they constantly expose fresh abrasives as they're used.

Effective for grinding, deburring, chamfering, and finishing a wide range of machined and cast parts, Rex-Cut Type 1 Abrasive wheels are suitable for use on aluminum, steel, stainless steel, titanium, Inconel, and other exotics. They come in 1-, 1 1/2-, 2-, and 3-inch sizes from 0.031- to 1/2-inch wide with coarse, medium, fine, and very fine grits, and soft or hard bonds. For more information, contact Rex-Cut Products at (800) 638-8501 or www.rexcut.com.

Slick 'N' Tired
In addition to the 7-, 8-, and 10-inch widths already available, Radir Custom Wheels has released its Cheater Slicks in 9- and 12-inch widths. Designed to be of one-piece tubeless construction-not recaps-the tires employ all the advantages of modern technology, but with the distinctive pie-crust ribbed sidewall for early to mid '60s styling.

At 32 inches high, and with a 2-3/4-inch whitewall, the 9-inch-wide slick will fit rims 7 to 12 inches wide, while the 12-inch tire fits rim widths of 10 to 15 inches. Both are available in 15- and 16-inch diameters. For more information, contact Radir Custom Wheels at (866) 334-3470 or www.radirwheels.com.

Custom Car Confessions
Watson's Custom Car Confessions is a 148-page in-depth look at the personal custom cars of customizer and custom paint legend Larry Watson, the girls who went along for the rides and boulevard cruising, and the troubles with the police during those antagonistic times when custom cars and their owners were the focus of police scrutiny. Growing up in the heart of the custom car craze in Bellflower, California, during the '50s, and throughout his life, Watson created some of the most influential custom cars of all time. From his famous '50 Chevy "Grapevine" and legendary '58 Thunderbird "Vino Paisano", to later cars like his custom '72 Ranchero made famous in the Robert Culp movie Outrage, they're all here.

Designer and author Thom Taylor worked on the book with Larry Watson right up until his untimely death, producing a tribute to his life and legacy through the cars with which he displayed his unique talents. Initial printing of 1,000 copies ensures this will be a rare and collectible addition to your automotive book collection. For more information, visit www.watsonswildest.com.

LS Air
The GM LS-series of engines are showing up in an increasing number of hobby vehicles, and for good reason, as the power levels and economy they provide are unmatched in older engines, but frame and front crossmember clearance issues have been a real problem when installing them in older chassis. Pace Performance has developed a package that relocates the A/C compressor to the upper righthand (passenger side) of the engine. This package also eliminates the need for a second belt to drive the compressor and converts your drive system to a single serpentine belt driven system.

The Pace Pac LS truck engine A/C compressor relocation kit is complete with a new, natural finish, Sanden 508-style compressor, lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum brackets, pulleys and tensioner, zinc-plated fasteners, and a serpentine belt (for use with OEM truck LS serpentine kits; a different belt length may be required when using this package with other drive systems). The kit is also available for F-body and Corvette LS engines. For more information, contact Pace Performance at (888) 522-8133 or www.paceperformance.com.

Easy Listening
Modifying your dash to fit a stereo capable of accepting modern portable formats, or converting the stock radio, destroys the vehicle's originality. The RediRad-AM band radio adapter opened up options as it was a noninvasive method of enjoying music through your original radio and speakers. The all-new RediRad-FM is fully compatible with either analog or digital radios, and operates on the FM band to provide rich, stereophonic playback. Because the signal is not wirelessly transmitted, the RediRad-FM seamlessly routes music from a portable media player into your car's existing radio tuner without broadcast radio station interference.

Available for 12V and 6V vehicles, the RediRad-FM installs easily; there is no confusing wiring and no need to cut or drill holes. It automatically toggles between broadcast and portable music player modes, eliminating a separate on/off switch. Its compact package hides easily behind the dashboard and saves money over switching to an aftermarket stereo system that lacks the increasingly popular AUXiliary input jack.
