One of the most beautiful steering wheels to ever grace a Ford interior has to be the highly sought-after Crestliner wheel, and now you can stop combing swap meets for a beat-up one, thanks to Juliano’s. This new Crestliner wheel is a beautiful copy of the original ’49-50 Ford accessory, and unlike the original, it’s machined from solid aluminum so it will never crack.

Scaled-down from the original 18-inch diameter to 16 inches for ergonomics purposes, it is available for GM-style columns or early keyed and later splined Ford columns. One Scoop Or Two?

Remember when scoops were a popular option to running a standard air cleaner? Well, they still are thanks to O’Brien Truckers, who’s now offering these two fully polished versions for popular four-barrel carburetors with a standard 5 1/8-inch opening. Both scoops feature a washable “lifetime” cotton gauze element. The oval-opening scoop is reminiscent of a classic Gasser scoop, while being a completely functional air cleaner. It’s fully polished, and the opening is fitted with a good-looking, rustproof expanded-metal mesh to keep the bugs out. It measures 15 x 8 1/2 inches, and is 5 inches tall. The rectangular-opening version is a recreation of another traditional scoop, and that one also comes fully polished, while the hardware includes the center stud with stainless acorn nut and washer. S-Drive

Eddie Motorsports has recently introduced their new line of S-Drive billet aluminum serpentine pulley systems. The compact S-Drives feature pulleys and mounting brackets that are CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and are available for LS, big- and small-block Chevrolet engines. The kits are available in configurations with or without power steering and/or air conditioning.

That’s Flash

This new electronic module from American Autowire replaces an ordinary dimmer switch. It can be attached to other modules with the supplied locking wedge or stand-alone with the included mounting bracket. When the headlight switch is on, the module resets to the low beam circuit. When the lights are off, holding the momentary switch activates the “Flash to Pass” safety option on the high beam circuit.

The module accommodates standard sealed beam and Halogen headlights in two- and four-light configurations, includes a 30-amp circuit breaker, and takes the current load off the headlight switch. Instead of passing power to the low and high beam circuits the headlight switch simply provides a “headlights on” signal to the module. The “Flash to Pass” option is active only when the headlight switch is in the “off” position, and when the lights are on, the “Flash to Pass’ is simply the normal activation of the high beam circuit.
