Declare Independence
Speedway Motors’ new bolt-in IFS crossmember for ’35-40 Fords allows the average enthusiast to install a proven Mustang II–style front suspension using only basic hand tools. The innovative crossmember design employs interlocking boxing plates to support the framerails from the inside, distributing the load and providing the ultimate in strength and rigidity. Mounting bolts pass through both the frame and boxing plates, tying all the components together into a reinforced assembly that won’t twist or flex.

Installation can easily be completed in a weekend using little more than a socket and wrench set, jackstands, hand drill, tape measure, and a few clamps. No welding or specialized fabrication skills are required. Once installed, the adjustable upper spring seats allow precise tuning of the vehicle’s ride height. Wintec Fabrication now offers this super-low Model A chassis for fenderless hot rods, designed with a 3-inch rear kickup on a lengthened 122-inch wheelbase for a better ride. The chassis bolts together using basic hand tools and comes with all of the necessary welding already completed. Standard features include small-block Chevy engine mounts, tube shocks up front (not friction shocks), Corvair steering, a dual reservoir master cylinder with brake pedal, and a rear Panhard bar.

Stop, Turn, and Split
Juliano's new LED third brake light is more than just a super-bright brake light. The two LED sections function as signal lights as well, a great added-value feature. Because it's divided into two sections, it's also a natural for any car with a split rear window. Two versions are available, with either a fixed bracket for package tray mounting, or an adjustable bracket allowing the light to be mounted on a split window divider.

Lost and Found
Who doesn't love a hot rod "barn find" story, or a tale of an old survivor car? Lost Hot Rods is an entire book of such encounters, and we can't think of anyone more suited to penning it than Pat Ganahl, whose nationwide network of contacts helped make it possible. Ganahl tells us of old hot rods and customs that have been in storage for decades, suddenly to resurface. While a few famous cars are included, the book mainly showcases little-known cars that have made it to the present day without being parted out or wrecked.

Hot Tub
Wintec Fabrication's new T-tub body virtually doubles the interior space of a T-bucket, so it's easy to carry necessities like a cooler and chairs, or other family members. Available in a variety of package configurations, including the roller you see here, the new body comes with a full fiberglass floor and removable transmission tunnel, and an operating door on the passenger side is optional. It's made of hand-laid fiberglass featuring a smooth gelcoat finish that requires minimal time for prep and paint.

Superior Glass Works has your rodding comfort in mind and offers several fiberglass street rod bodies with enough space to stretch out and really enjoy the ride. The 1932 Ford three-window coupe features a 2 1/2-inch-deeper cabin by kicking out the base of the back window, while maintaining the stock body dimensions and proportions. Two other big '32s offered are a stock height and a 2-inch chopped Vicky. The '27 Ford roadster (aka "The King T") has 4 inches added to the depth of the cockpit.

Rad Rides new All Inclusive Voltage Kit could be the answer to hard-to-access batteries, making remote charging or jump-starting simple. The kit includes charging lugs with bezel, remote battery shut off, billet battery tray, and an XS Power D975 battery. The remote lug charging station comes in either a flush panel bezel mount or a frame mount. This allows you to service your battery or jump-start without tearing your car apart. The remote key fob-operated battery shut-off allows you to disconnect your battery for storage, transport, or safety without ever picking up a wrench. If you're a custom guy or gal, you know just how hard it can be to find good, usable body and trim parts to create the custom of your dreams for cars that are 50 or 60 years old. Sure they're still out there, but at a price, often one that's out of reach for many. One of the most desirable parts for use on all manner of customs has always been the '49 Chevy front license plate guard, yet originals are in short supply. Even most '49 Chevys have had them removed long ago.

Flame-Thrower
With the resurgence in popularity of the Chevrolet "W" engines, PerTronix announced their new plug-and-play billet distributor for these applications, including the 348, 409, and Z11 427, which is designed to provide maximum ignition performance and easy installation. This distributor allows you to upgrade your outdated points or worn-out aftermarket components with a performance-proven distributor that features the patented Ignitor II electronic ignition module and a CNC-machined 6061-T6 polished billet housing, and features a simple two-wire hook-up with no external components required.

The Flame-Thrower distributors are available with or without vacuum advance, while the PerTronix electronics are compatible with any inductive ignition system coil, but high-rpm performance can be improved when used with their low-resistant (0.6 ohm) Flame-Thrower II coil. Clip Art
Designed for street or strip applications, Strange Engineering has introduced a new C-clip eliminator kit for most 10- and 12-bolt GM car rearends equipped with C-clip style axles. In the past, C-clip eliminators for these applications had been designed for drag racing, which use ball bearings. Ball bearing C-clip kits are fine for drag racing, but are prone to leaking and premature failure when used for prolonged street use. Strange Engineering's specially designed C-clip eliminator kit utilizes Timken unit (tapered) bearings, which survive severe side loads and constant use. The kit also features two seals per axle shaft, ensuring a completely sealed axle end. Complete axle and C-clip eliminator packages are also available. Triangulated Tri-Five
Think of Heidts and you probably picture trick IFS setups, right? Well, check out the company's new '55-57 Chevy triangulated four-link kit. Designed to handle high horsepower and make the Chevy Tri-Fives handle better than the original designers could have ever dreamed of, the kit is available in plain steel or with polished stainless steel tubes. Optional items are available, including a 9-inch housing with third member, axles, and rear disc brakes.

The standard kit comes with chassis and axle brackets, plain adjustable links, full upper coilover crossmember, adjustable Heidts black coilovers, and all hardware. Rocket 'n' Rollin'
Rocket Racing Wheels announced new wheel styles, including the Rocket Launcher and Igniter. The former mimics the 12-spoke spindle-mount design popular on '60s drag cars, but in a 10-spoke design with five-lug bolt-on application. Available in three different finishes-gray painted centers with machined outers, fully polished, or the satin "as cast" look-the Rocket Launcher is a safer way to achieve the look of an old race car without the associated problems of using old magnesium spindle mount wheels and minimal brakes. The Igniter series, inspired by early Salt Flats racing wheels and featuring five kidney bean style windows with a rib between each one, are made from precision-cast A356 aluminum, topped off with a vintage-style aluminum O-ring center cap.
