No matter how good your hot rod or custom might look, it's not going anywhere with Nout a way to supply the engine with fuel (even trailer queens get driven into the trailer at times). Last month we showed you how the crew at Brizio Street Rod modified and mounted the gas tank in Roy's '55 Chevy. This month we'll finish getting the gas up to the Edelbrock 383 crate engine. Of course, a functional system can be steel hard line and black rubber hose, but since when do we settle for just good enough when we can do something custom?
 We were able to get started...  We were able to get started on the lines now that the Rock Valley gas tank was mounted and the pickup tube was done. |  |  It can be a tedious and potentially...  It can be a tedious and potentially frustrating process if you haven't assembled braided hose AN fittings before. The first step is to cut the braided line. |
 One of the more difficult...  One of the more difficult tasks in this procedure is stuffing the braided hose into the AN fitting collar. We removed the electrical tape carefully from the hose and twisted the hose end into the fitting. |  Once we had a hose end installed,...  Once we had a hose end installed, it was time to measure the length of each line. We installed both fittings in position and marked the hose with a pen for the cut. |  We then drilled a hole in...  We then drilled a hole in the frame large enough to install a grommet to protect the fuel line. PCV grommets for valve covers are the perfect size. |
 We applied a small amount...  We applied a small amount of antiseize to the threads to prevent galling before we assembled the hose fitting. |  Once the fuel line was run...  Once the fuel line was run through the frame, we cut the hose to length and installed a hose end. |  The soft jaws pictured here... In order to ensure steady and accurate fuel pressure, we decided to use a fuel pressure regulator. |  We mounted the regulator low...
