We "bottomed out" the rearend by jacking it up to the frame snubbers to figure out exactly how tall our tub needed to be. We need to make sure that 18 inches of height is sufficient so we can make a perfectly round tub. We then measured 18 inches straight up into the wheelwell from the axle center line and marked our inner panel. This will give us 3 inches of tire clearance if the rear end bottomed out with a 30-inch-diameter tire. View Related Article
