Once the radius was correct, we rolled both edges of our tub top halves by tightening the mandrels little by little during each pass, and making sure to keep the inside edge tight against the inner lip of the mandrels. You'll notice the structural benefit of rolling the edges of these tubs at this point: This is now a very stout piece.
