We marked out extensions at the front and rear of the glass holder. At this point we simply used the template, but we will eventually incorporate these "legs" into the glass holder. With the marks laid out, we basically cut a notch into the bottom edge of our template with a reciprocating saw. This allows the regulator to be mounted high in the door while still maintaining a vertical edge at the front and rear of the glass to keep it steady in the glass channels. View Related Article
