The regulator needs to be mounted against the inner door skin so that it won't interfere with the glass or glass holder, so we marked the top of the regulator even with the top of the inner door skin. We then cut off the top of the regulator with a cut-off wheel. Specialty Power Windows provides a safety cap that can be installed here. View Related Article
