Here are the horn covers again, welded, ground, and temporarily tacked in place at the ends of the tank. Ryan wanted to fill the gap between the horn covers and the rear fenders with an additional piece of sheetmetal. What looks like the simplest part of the job turned out to be difficult, since the surface of this piece (A) has to flow from the fender to the perpendicular horn covers, and the curve of the lower edge (arrow) has to form a natural line from the fender to the covers.
