Here's what careful planning and not-inconsiderable fabrication and welding produced: a recessed trunk floor in which the gas tank, air tank, compressor, and eventually, the air solenoid block will reside. Once the gas tank is plumbed I'll fabricate a cover and all this will be hidden, eliminating the possibility of accidental damage and reducing noise. I drilled air vent holes in the rear wall of the "box" to allow an air supply to the compressor. View Related Article
