To avoid damaging the underlying braces, the sill portion of the rocker was cut around the braces, as shown. The remaining sections of the rocker were removed after the panel was out of the way. It's real easy to slice right through a floor brace (which is another reason replacements are available) if you're not careful. View Related Article
