The other vital component you definitely want to have already installed is the fuel tank-it's much easier to route pipes around a tank than it is to build or find a tank to fit within the constraints of the exhaust system. Having had a stainless unit fabricated by Rick's Tanks to spec made the job that much easier on this end-but a cheaper Mustang-type tank would also have worked on the '47 Chevy as well.
