All that remained to make the roof usable was to weld the skin to the framework above the windshield. Aluminum needs to be very clean before welding, so I used a Scotch-Brite disc on a mini air grinder to prep the area. I also draped a fire blanket over the windshield frame to protect the glass while welding. View Related Article
