It’s important to check the rear oil pump idler gear bushing prior to installing the pan (if you don’t do it now, it’s a lot of work to get to it once the engine is assembled). Gasket dressing(s) preference varies from one to another, but it’s hard to beat Gasgacinch, that’s for sure. View Related Article
