[21] When I fabricated the rear nerf bar, I included a second pair of steel rings next to the taillights, not only for looks but with plans to route the exhausts through them at a later date. I used flared tube ends normally used to connect to the exhaust manifold, and welded them to the flex couplers supplied in the kit, so the exhaust tips could be solid mounted to the nerf bar. With the coupler supported, I used masking tape to center the tip in the ring while the mounts were welded. View Related Article
