A view of the Flat Out kit from the rear. Here you can clearly see where the crossmembers weld to the frame as well as the brackets that hold the diffs wings. This car had been modified with a Jag IRS before coming to McNeil and Turner. But the Jag unit was failing, and had been poorly installed to boot, so Flat Out used it to test its first car kit. When completed, the Ford will be powered by a small-block Chevy mated to a 700-R4 trans and will use Flat Outs Corvette front suspension kit as well as the IRS kit. View Related Article
