Starting with the firewall, we worked the guidecoat off as we finger-sanded all the little surface changes on the firewall and inner surfaces on the cowl. The clean part gets smooth and soft as...add your favorite metaphor. It’s slow going, but there are no shortcuts to a bitchin’ paint job.
