The Ford Flathead was losing its grip on the hot rod world by the mid-'50s. Tony "The Loner" Nancy tried to hang on with his Edelbrock-equipped blown Flathead roadster, shown on the cover of Hot Rod in December '57. But the small-block Chevy could not be denied. Edelbrock engaged in "Chevy mania" and produced all types of manifolds including a Ram Log six carburetor model and a dual-quad version. View Related Article
