This ex five-window ranks up there for the most miles on the Salt. Jerry and the late Red Holmes built the roadster while Jerry was still in Miller's employ. Jerry achieved one of his goals early when he became a member of the "200 Mile Per Hour Club" in 1967 with 205.560 mph. Sons, Jeff and Joe, also followed in dad's Salt tracks, pushing the relic to 250 mph before it was retired in 1995 to the Wally Parks NHRA Museum in Pomona, California. View Related Article
