Forget the plate. Jim's race car, (yes, race car) complete with sponsor was never registered or driven on the street. Its only purpose was to race at El Mirage, San Fernando Drag Strip, and Famoso Drag Strip north of Bakersfield. That really cool plaque spelled out "Rev's." The name was changed from the Blow-By's. OK, the sponsor was Jim's garage, but it was great advertising going down the strip complete with phone number, don't you think? View Related Article
