No question, Bob was a stone hot rodder and it was hard to break the habit with as many Flathead Fords that he owned, like this ’50 Shoebox Ford. Certainly, Bob was last guy you’d think would buy a sports car, but Bob’s decision to race on a regular basis meant a sports car was a means to an end. View Related Article
