Y-Block Revisited
Don’t let this kind of carnage happen to your Y-block. As a quick camshaft-oiling fix, some companies make a kit that taps a small line in the pan and sends oil up into the rocker assembly. Unfortunately, this can starve the bottom end, resulting in the kind of grenading you see here.
