Some builders prefer to remove and block off the small oil-return tube at the end of the rocker shaft, as this pressurizes the oil in the shaft assembly. If you plan on doing this and you’re reusing the original rocker assembly, then knock out the plugs at the ends of the shaft and clean out the sludge. View Related Article
